In the Shadows: It just sold recently. On one hand, I was ecstatic that someone purchased it. It was hanging around since about March. But on the other hand I was sad because that one was my baby. I had gone through a whole series of dark drawings in a very short period of time ( I was not in the best of spirits) and there was just something about that one that spoke to me. It felt all my anger, sadness and confusion all rolled into one. Plus, looking at it, didn’t give me the heebie jeebies. But now it’s going to a new home. Hopefully they’ll love it as much as I do. Since they’re charcoal I try NOT to cover them with anything until I can spray them with a matte fixative so that they don’t smudge.
